To go with the text, whatever can a director do?

I would be happy to provide you with the text.

I was not at all concerned with the written text.

But what the Council has now done is to present us with a completely new text.

I think the work we have done, though not easy with a text of 2 000 pages, has brought real progress.

This is not always the case with the same text in two languages.

I could even have lived with the text proposed by the Council.

Also not sure what people are complaining about with the text.
