"I hope so, too," she replied softly as he returned to his rooms.

"That was a long time ago, Captain," he finally replied softly.

"You know she would," he replied softly, and closed his eyes for a moment.

"Yes," she softly replied, knowing that the world could be crashing around her and she'd want him still.

"I couldn't possibly tell you about that night," he replied softly.

He had smiled back and softly replied, "Got to be."
