Though most freshmen enter the program through Varsity Band, there are no grade restrictions.

He also extended his efforts off the football field by establishing the Varsity Band to play at other sporting events.

The Varsity Band is composed to mostly high school freshmen, but may include older students who are restarting their band process.

Varsity Band recently received its first Division I rating at District 12 MSBOA in about 30 years.

The three main performing bands are: Concert Winds, Varsity Band, and Jazz Band.

When the Bruin teams advance in NCAA tournament play, the Varsity Band can be found supporting the team at many venues outside Los Angeles.

He is also the conductor of the Symphonic Band and Varsity Band.

Varsity Band and Choir are for all sophomores and those that still want to be in band but did not make the audition into Concert Band or Choir.
