At the 1906 Summer Olympics in Athens, he was a member of the Danish gymnastics team, which won the silver medal in the team, Swedish system event.

In the 1912 Summer Olympics he won his second gold medal as member of the Swedish gymnastics team in the Swedish system event.

In 1920 he won the bronze medal as member of the Belgian gymnastics team in the Swedish system event.

He was part of the Danish team, which won the silver medal in the gymnastics men's team, Swedish system event.

Four years later he was part of the Norwegian team, which won the bronze medal in the gymnastics team, Swedish system event.

It was the fourth appearance of the event, which was one of three team gymnastics events held in 1920 (along with the free system team event and the Swedish system team event).

Italy did not compete in the free system or Swedish system team events.
